Donald F. Bradach SAVE Promise Club

From the desk of Mrs. Hirst, Principal, Donald F. Bradach

The administration at Bradach school is pleased to announce the formation of our SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) Promise Club. SAVE Promise Clubs are a place for young people across the country to show their leadership, creativity, and passion for protecting their friends, schools and communities from violence before it happens. SAVE Promise Clubs are established and led by students and are a powerful approach to preventing gun violence (and other forms of violence and victimization) because they recognize the unique role that young people play in making their schools and communities safer. As a part of our commitment to changing the culture on the Bradach campus to one of kindness and inclusion, our SAVE School Ambassadors recently received training on the Start with Hello program.  Start with Hello teaches kids three things they can do to stop any social isolation they see on campus. Students can 1) See Someone Alone, 2) Reach out and help and 3) Start with hello. The campus will be participating in Start with Hello week September 23rd-27th as a way to bring awareness to social isolation. By practicing the FISH Philosophy of "Be There" our students can make a difference every day for students who feel alone.
