School Building Closure Information

Good afternoon families,

Due to the rise in COVID cases in Adelanto, the district will be implementing a physical closure of school buildings and the District Office beginning Monday the 14th and continuing until January 29th. While our school buildings are physically closed, students will continue learning virtually. If you need to reach an administrator, office staff or the librarian, please reach out by email, phone (leave a message and we will call you back) or Class Dojo messages. You may message me through Class Dojo or text and call me at (760)-502-6154 anytime.

We will have a virtual office Zoom every day from 7:30-8:00 am for any parents who need tech support, have questions, want to make an appointment  etc. You can access the Zoom meetings here:

We have a virtual office with email for everyone, it can be accessed here:

Beginning in January, lunch pick up will be on Wednesdays from 1:45-2:45. Homework Packets can be picked up only on Wednesdays from 1:45-2:45.

If you need to exchange a Chromebook, have a new enrollee or need textbooks, you will need to contact Ms. Shakira to schedule an appointment for pick up. She can be reached on Dojo, emailing or calling 760-246-8691 x16160 or 909-638-2096.

To excuse an absence, please send Ms. Lupita a message onDojo, by email at, or by calling 760-246-8691 ex 16161, 909-326-0713.

Pawesome will be read virtually, and once we are cleared for home visits again, we will drop off your awards to you.

Thank you for partnering with us to provide a safe learning environment for all.

Upcoming Student Testing - January 12th and January 19th through February 12th

This year your child will be taking a test called the Interim Comprehensive Assessment or ICA if they are in grades 3-8. Students in grades 1-2 will be taking Math and English Language Arts Assessments from their GoMath and Wonders Books. These tests will be administered to your child via Zoom from January 19th through February 26th. Students will complete a 'Dry Run' on January 12th (during this day, students will log into the test but not actually take it - we just want to make sure everyone is comfortable with the steps they will need to take during the real test). The data from these tests will help educators provide instruction and support to help your student succeed. Below you will find a Step by Step Guide of what your student will do in order to take these Assessments. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.  Thank you for your support.  Stay safe!
